Dear 5th grade students and parents,
Congratulations, we have just completed addition and subtraction of fractions – and conquered subtracting mixed numbers with renaming.  This concept does need review.  The McGraw Hill My Math series does have a wonderful website with great resources.  I am trying something new – making an assignment of an online interactive review for students.  Students will get feed- back from the website about their progress on the assignment.

1.        Go to:

You can link to the site from my blogger page – which can be found at

2.       Sign into your account – all students made an account in September.
3.       Select Resources on your home page
4.       Select Chapter 9, Lesson 13
5.       Go to page 2 - there is a select arrow on the bottom right of the page
6.       Do the self-check interactive quiz – there are also videos on the topic which can be viewe
I demonstrated the steps in class today to the students and gave them their passwords just in case they were misplaced.

Let’s see how it goes.
Thank you in advance.  Have a Blessed Easter
Mrs. DeLorenzo
