Scatter Plots
A scatter plot is a graph that show the relationship between two sets of data. In a scatter plot, two sets of data are graphed as ordered pairs on a coordinate plane.
Remember
Graph Title
Label x and y axes - make sure you include units
When setting up a scale make sure you use equal increments on each axis. The two axes need not have the same scale. To decide on your scale look at the lowest value and the greatest value for each set of data. Decide on a increment or interval that will work with data and let you plot all your values. The interval will depend on the range (difference between greatest value and least value in your set of data) of your data
Remeber if there is a break in the data use a jagged line to break the scale and show thaty you are not plotting values between zero and your first number
