Summer Homework Incoming Grade 5

June 15, 2012 Dear Students and Parents, An early welcome to Grade 5. Summer is a good time to see math in the world around us and to practice our math skills. I have assigned activities on Mathletics. This is a fun way for students to keep up with their math skills. Focus Activity - Number Operations Topics Comparing Decimals 1 Adding Colossal Columns Subtracting Colossal Columns Fact Families: Multiply and Divide Problems: Times and Divide Multiply 2-Digit by 1 Digit Multiply 1-Digit Number Regroup Divide: 1- Digit Divisor 1 Division Facts Students can access Mathletics directly at http://mathletics.com or from my Blog http://mathwithmrsd.blogspot.com or from our website which links to my blog (select blogs on left hand side of web page) http://www.visitationacademy.net Have a good summer. Sincerely, Mrs. DeLorenzo
